But our network cannot grow without engaged persons like you. Anyone with the right mindset and a suitable location for AIS reception can join our mission – whether you’re an experienced tech enthusiast or completely new to AIS. The Ship Monitor team will support you throughout the entire process.
If you live near the coast, along navigable inland waters, or in ports, harbors, marinas, or elevated locations, you can help to improve the AIS coverage and therefore the transparency of the maritime world. If you already maintain an AIS station, you can easily contribute your data to become part of the AIS network community.
